Yesterdays guide trip on the Clark Fork River came with a bit of a surprise a little more than halfway through our day. We came around a bend only to find a train had derailed and several cars were in the water. A couple of those cars were tanker cars which we were told were empty at the time of the derailment. There were 2×4’s scattered all down the river as well. Quite a site to see. Hopefully they get it all cleaned up and nothing bad ended up in the river…
