I had the great fortune last week to take my first ever trip down the Smith River. It exceeded my expectation in every way possible! This place is so beautiful is should be considered a national treasure! It is a place that needs to be experienced in order to get the full effect of just how magnificent it really is and spending your time on the river with good friends (like we did) will only enhance that experience.
Come prepared as the weather and water conditions can change rapidly, but if you come ready for that it will only make your experience that much more memorable.
I can’t wait until my next trip down the Smith. Until then I will rely on my memories and pictures to take me back to this place that will forever have a piece of my heart!
