Well believe it or not, it is spring out there. Sure it doesn’t really feel like it yet with the daily snow showers and all, but trust me, it is spring and the fish know it! The spring fishing can be some of the best of the year here in Montana and to get the most out of it you need to come prepared! Mother nature can AND WILL throw everything she has at you to try and keep you at home in your lazy boy. Ignore her. She is still cranky from the winter blues. Instead, put your layers on, bring something hot (and cold) to drink, throw in a couple extra jackets, gloves, and hats and you will have a great time. All the smiling faces below did just that yesterday and they are still smiling this morning. Get out there and enjoy it now before the BIG run-off starts!
