It has been one busy and fun week at Montana Troutaholic headquarters. We got paid a surprise visit by our good friend from New Zealand, Mr. Simon Chu! Simon had never been to Montana before and had a few fish he needed to mark off the list. Westslope Cutthroat, Cutbow, Whitefish, and even a Northern Pike all fell victim to Simon’s fly! We had a ton of fun and it was great spending time with such a great man.
Back at the end of April we donated a trip to Project Healing Waters for their silent auction. Denis Eichhorn was the winner of that trip and made good on it while he was here for his grand daughters graduation. Denis put a lot of nice fish in the boat with this one being one of the most memorable. This was one of only a few fish eating dries that day and Denis got the job done on top! A great fish for a great guy!
