Pretty special day for me today. I got my first turkey and it was with an arrow. I know some may not believe in hunting, and I am okay with that. There was a time when I felt the same way. I have since realized it is ultimately good for the breed. And I will use every piece of this bird. It will be food for my family and I will tie flies with the feathers. A huge thanks to Xenek for hooking me up with a blind. It seemed to attract the turkeys to it! A very rewarding day for me!
