This past summer I lost a good friend. A group of us all said goodbye by spreading his ashes at this wonderful high mountain lake. I felt the calling to go say “hello” so we strapped on the snowshoes and grinded our way up the mountain. I takes about 3 times as long with snowshoes on, but it was totally worth it!
